Don’t forget to read the bonus tip that I have added at the end of the post.

Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes

Serve: 4 persons

Ingredients Needed

  1. 1tsp Soy sauce
  2. 1tsp Tomato ketchup
  3. 1tsp Red chili sauce
  4. Veggies (cauliflower, carrots, spring onions, beans, ginger, garlic, onion, and capsicum). You could also include other vegetables of your choice.
  5. 2tbsp Cornflour
  6. ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  7. Salt to taste
  8. ½ tsp Black pepper
  9. 2-3 tsp oil
  10. 1tsp vinegar

6 Easy Steps to Make Mouth Watering Veg Manchurian

  1. Take all the veggies (except garlic and ginger) and finely chop them. Mix them in a bowl and squeeze out the extra water after chopping them. Make sure that you remove the water, otherwise, it would be difficult to prepare manchurian balls.
  2. Now add crushed garlic and ginger paste into the mix. Add salt, soy sauce, in the veggies.
  3. Add all-purpose flour into the bowl, and mix the ingredients well. You could add more all-purpose flour if needed (if you find the mix wet). This would absorb the extra water.
  1. Now make small manchurian balls from the mix and fry them on medium flame. Remember not to fry the balls on high flame, otherwise, they would not be cooked from inside. Also, do not keep the prepared balls for a long time. Make the balls at the time you are ready to fry them.
  2. Fry manchurian balls till they turn golden-yellow.
  3. Remove the balls from the pan and place them on a paper to drain the oil.

How to Prepare Veg Manchurian Gravy

  1. Take oil in the pan and roast chopped green chili, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Add spring onion and fry the mix till it turns golden brown.
  3. Now it’s the turn to add sauces in the pan. Add red chili sauce, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the balls to the gravy and cook the mix for a few minutes. Add water if you want to make semi-gravy manchurian.
  5. Yay! Your delicious veg Manchurian is ready to serve.
  6. Garnish the Manchurian with celery and serve it with rice or noodles.

Tips You Should Keep In Mind While Preparing Manchurian

  1. Make sure that you do not add a lot of all-purpose flour into the veggies. This could make the manchurian balls harder. (You could add a cup of bread crumbs)
  2. Bread crumbs could alter the taste of manchurian balls. So, do not add bowls full of bread crumbs. Add more bread crumbs if needed.
  3. Fry the manchurian balls on a medium flame to prevent them from burning. Turn them after a few minutes for even cooking.

Bonus Tip: When you add the water, add it in small quantities. In case, if you add excessive water, then add a tbsp of cornstarch to make it thick.

So, next time if you crave some spicy and delicious recipe, then make this veg Manchurian and satisfy your taste buds.
